Akshay Kumar is synonymous to daring stunts and a fit body. There is another side to the superstar that few are aware of. He is a patriot to the core and also steps in to help the needy whenever needed. Last heard he had started a martial arts school to train girls in the art of self-defense aginst the rising cases of rape in the nation. He even took up the cause of the farmers in the state. To put an end to the rising cases of suicides amongst them due to the drought condition. Recently he donated 1 cr towards Chennai flood relief too.

Akshay Kumar has now launched the Cultivating Hope campaign an initiative with NDTV and Piramal Foundation. It works to support the farmers. Dressed in a black tuxedo, he truly looked dashing. Akshay said that if the next generation doesn’t take up farming it will be tragic.
