As the days are passing by nearing the release of director Omung Kumar‘s much-anticipated biopic film ‘Sarbjit‘, the makers are certainly leaving no stone unturned to make more people aware of this heart-wrenching story of Indian farmer Sarabjit Singh. After returning from the successful screening at the prestigious ongoing 69^th Cannes Film Festival, the team of ‘Sarbjit’ arranged for a musical concert where singers Sonu Nigam, Sukhwinder Singh, Sunidhi Chauhan, Amaal Mallik, Tulsi Kumar and Shail Hada paid their tribute to this late Indian farmer. All of them sang their respective tracks from ‘Sarbjit’ movie. The event started off with Sarabjit’s wife Sukhpreet Kaur, who came on stage and lit the lamp followed by a short prayer service. As the program moved forward, no one in the ‘Sarbjit’ cast and Sarabjit Singh’s family could get away from breaking down in tears while listening to these songs. The deep attachment for being a part of this movie was also seen evidently at this event when singer Sonu Nigam who couldn’t walk due to his recent knee surgery came here to perform with the support of crutches.
