Lata Mangeshkar Passes Away: Jr NTR, Samantha, Allu Arjun and other South celebs pay tributes to the veteran singer

Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar left for her heavenly abode on February 6 at 8:12 am. She was 92 and was being treated at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital. She was cremated at Mumbai’s Shivaji Park with full state honours. From Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Sachin Tendulkar to Shah Rukh Khan, many dignitaries and celebs paid their last respects to the veteran singer. She was admitted on 8 January to Breach Candy Hospital’s intensive care unit (ICU) and was later on ventilator support as her health deteriorated.

South celebs like Samantha, Allu Arjun, Chiranjeevi, Mahesh Babu, Jr NTR among others mourned the demise of the veteran singer on social media.

Mahesh Babu is also deeply saddened.

Samantha took to her Instagram Story to pay tribute to the singer.

Meanwhile, Lata Mangeshkar’s ashes are taken home by her nephew Adinath Mangeshkar from Shivaji Park.
