Lady superstar Nayanthara and her filmmaker husband Vignesh Shivan celebrated New Year in a unique manner. The power couple began the year by gifting some underprivileged kids. A video on social media has created a buzz, it has the lady superstar and her husband distributing gift bags to underprivileged children.

In the video, Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan are seen dressed in casual outfits and distributing small paper bags with gifts to people on the streets. They were being helped by their team members. The video garnered love from fans who hailed the gesture.

Reacting to the video, a fan tweeted, “That’s really great, hats off to you both (sic).” Another fan wrote, “This is why she’s called lady superstar (sic).

Earlier Vignesh Shivan had taken to Instagram to thank all for making 2022 the best year of his life. Sharing the series of posts he wrote, “Getting blessed with two boys who just make me tear up every time I see them, every time I go near them… the tears from my eyes touch them before my lips could: ) Twoooo blessed I feel always, Thank God (sic).”

He also thanked fans for their support for his film Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal. The post also officially confirmed that he is teaming up with Ajith Kumar for AK62, which will be produced by Lyca Productions.

Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara tied the knot on June 9 in an intimate ceremony in Chennai. Their Big fat wedding was attended by their families and close friends. Shah Rukh Khan, Atlee, Rajinikanth and more were also seen attending the wedding. Four months after their wedding, Vignesh Shivn took to Instagram to announce that they had welcomed twin boys through surrogacy. Their sons were named Uyir and Ulagam.

On the work front, Nayanthara was recently seen in the Tamil horror drama Connect. Directed by Ashwin Saravanan the horror-thriller also features Vinay Rai and Anupam Kher in key roles.
