After weeks of buzz and growing curiosity, actor and model Samyuktha Shanmuganathan and former Chennai Super Kings cricketer Anirudha Srikkanth have finally tied the knot. The couple got married on Thursday in Chennai in a quiet, traditional ceremony attended by their close family and friends.

Samyuktha looked stunning in a gold-coloured saree paired with elegant temple jewellery, while Anirudha wore a gold-shaded shirt and dhoti. Photos from the ceremony quickly went viral on social media, with fans celebrating the newlyweds and showering them with warm wishes.

The couple also shared an official post on Instagram with their wedding date “27.11.2025 (sic),” along with a ring and heart emoji. They later shared a short video capturing emotional moments from the ceremony, featuring family members, Samyuktha’s son, and close friends.

Their relationship became public during Diwali, when they posted a picture together. The photo confirmed rumours about their bond and sparked discussions about a possible engagement. Before the announcement, Samyuktha had briefly responded to the growing speculation by saying, “Everything is on the internet. Whatever is there, is there.”

Both Samyuktha and Anirudha are entering a new chapter in their lives. Anirudha, son of veteran cricketer Krishnamachari Srikkanth, was earlier married to model Aarti Venkatesh. Their marriage lasted two years, ending in 2014. Samyuktha was previously married to tech entrepreneur Karthik Shankar, with their divorce finalised in early 2025. She has openly spoken about the painful end of her first marriage, saying she felt “like my entire life was a lie” after discovering her husband’s affair.
