Soha Ali Khan has openly appreciated actress Ashnoor Kaur for the grace, strength, and positivity she displayed while turning a painful personal experience into a powerful message of self-love. Ashnoor Kaur, who was recently seen on Bigg Boss 19, earned immense admiration for her honesty, emotional resilience, and fearless self-expression. From her journey as a beloved child artiste to a confident young woman through projects like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Patiala Babes, Ashnoor’s growth has been inspiring. Inside the Bigg Boss house, however, she faced body shaming on a national platform, an experience she chose to confront with dignity rather than silence.

Soha Ali Khan Praises Ashnoor Kaur

During her conversation on Soha Ali Khan’s podcast, Ashnoor candidly spoke about when she first became aware of the remarks being made about her. Soha Ali Khan asked, “The first thing that you’ve realised that people are saying these things about you was the Weekend ka Vaar?”

Ashnoor responded with honesty and vulnerability, saying, “Yes, it was Weekend ka Vaar, and the minute that all happened you start getting flashbacks again, you get back in that time. Because yes, you are at a national platform and you don’t want to break either. I just felt it was not about me, it was about all the people who are going through something like this, and I had to voice out my journey for them.”

She went on to share how grateful she was for having a strong support system around her, while also acknowledging that many people facing similar issues do not have the same privilege. Ashnoor strongly emphasised that “your worth is not defined by how you look and how your body is.” After the episode aired, she was deeply moved by the response—messages flooded in from women and men alike, across age groups, from elderly women to young children who related to her experience. She also spoke about how body shaming is often normalised in certain regions, something she firmly believes needs to change.

Feeling a deep sense of responsibility and connection with those voices, Ashnoor decided to create a safe, comforting space and launched her Instagram initiative, “Gentle On Me.” She explained that the platform focuses on being kind to oneself first, highlighting that while kindness is often discussed, self-love is frequently forgotten.

Soha Ali Khan warmly appreciated Ashnoor’s maturity, dignity, and positive outlook, praising the way she addressed such a sensitive subject under immense pressure. Soha noted how thoughtfully Ashnoor used her voice, fully aware that her words could influence countless lives in a meaningful way.

Ashnoor Kaur’s journey proves that vulnerability can lead to empowerment, and that choosing to be gentle with oneself can inspire an entire movement rooted in compassion and strength.
