The second wave of COVID 19 has hit India hard, as the number of cases is increasing with each passing day. The virus has spared no one, whether it is Bollywood stars, TV actors or sports personalities. Now, Ajaz Khan has tested positive for COVID. Yes, Ajaz Khan, who was under NCB custody has been diagnosed with COVID 19.

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) had recently arrested Ajaz Khan in a drug case. According to the reports, COVID-19 positive Ajaz Khan is being shifted to a hospital. The NCB officer involved in the investigation will also undergo a mandatory COVID test, as a precautionary measure.

Ajaz Khan was arrested on April 1 by the NCB after 8 hours of interrogation in a drug case. He was detained on charges of being involved with drug peddlers Farooq Batata and his son Shadab Batata. On April 3, Ajaz was produced before the court. At first, the court remanded Ajaz Khan to NCB custody till April 3. However, later it was extended till April 5, that is today.

The extension by the court came in after the NCB officials requested that they needed time to interrogate Ajaz Khan, in connection to the seizure made at TV actor Gaurav Dixit’s residence. The lead regarding Gaurav Dixit dealing in drugs was generated through Ajaz Khan. The officials also informed the court that Ajaz Khan consumed drugs himself that he procured from Shadab Batata. Not only this but the former Bigg Boss 7 contestant also reportedly peddled those drugs.

Controversies and Ajaz Khan go hand-in-hand. The actor has been mired in several controversies over the years. He was also one of the most controversial contestants of BB 7.
