Aly Goni hits back at troll for using derogatory language in response to his Lok Sabha tweet, says, “Yeh desh tere baap ka hai?”

'Desh tere baap ka hai?' says, frustrated Aly Goni SLAMS troll for calling him 'Mulla', after his post on Lok Sabha elections 2024 results.

Aly Goni is a well established name in the industry. He gained popularity through his role in the show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. The TV show starred Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel in the lead role. The actor has always been open and vocal about his views. Similarly as the vote counting for the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 was underway, Aly expressed his excitement on X (formerly known as Twitter).

The actor posted, “Both have crossed 200; this time it’s going to be a tough fight… whoever wins bas humare desh ka bhala ho jai hind (Whoever wins, may it be for the good of our country).”

However, a user belittled him by calling him a ‘Mulla’ and commented, “But mulle tu itna khush kyu lag raha,” (But mulle, why are you so happy). Goni, who is from Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir, hit back at the derogatory comment. He said, “Kyun yeh desh tere baap ka hai sirf tu hi khush ho sakti hai? Faceless bhai ya behan jo bhi hai tu,” (Why is this country only your father’s? Why can only you be happy? You faceless brother or sister, whoever you are).

Aly’s response was filled with frustration and anger over such a comment.

The 33 year old also posted about the Election result day on his Instagram story. He wrote, “Damnnnn, it’s gonna be a good fight.”

Aly Goni’s career includes shows like Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan, Bahu Hamari Rajni Kant, Dil Hi Toh Hai, and Naagin 3. In 2020, he also participated as a wild card contestant in the reality show Bigg Boss 14. The show was hosted by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan.
