Vidisha Srivastava, popularly known for her role in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain gave birth to a baby girl on July 11. The actress tied the knot with beau Sayak Paul in 2018 and now the couple is all set to embark on a new journey of exploring parenthood. In a recent interview, the actress spoke about her delivery and how she feels as a new mother.

Vidisha Srivastava opens up about her delivery

The actress knows that her fans are awaiting details. Talking to ETimes she opened up about her labour. Revealing how she felt when she first saw her daughter, Vidisha said, “It was an 18-hour long labour and I was in excruciating pain. It has been a normal delivery. But the moment I saw my daughter, every pain and discomfort disappeared. Seeing my daughter in front of me felt like a miracle.”

She reveals the name of her name

The actress also unveils the potential name for her daughter and shares its profound significance. In the process of finalizing the name with her husband, they are leaning towards ‘Aadya.’ Vidisha explains that the name holds deep meaning as it symbolizes the strength and power associated with the goddess Durga. It’s also another name for Lord Shiva.

Vidisha, known for her portrayal of Anita Mishra, aka Bhabiji, in the popular show Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain, shared insights about her recent journey. Despite her being heavily pregnant, she continued to shoot as the main lead until 10 days before embracing the arrival of her precious bundle of joy. During the interview, she expressed her determination to return to the sets after a well-deserved break of one and a half months.
