Eijaz Khan made a temporary exit from the Bigg Boss 14 house following a prior professional commitment. The actor is expected to be back inside the house in the next week itself. During his time outside, Bollywood Bubble spoke to him about his journey inside and the ups and downs he faced. Eijaz made headlines after he revealed having gone through a childhood trauma which had made him averse to any “touch.” In a candid chat, we asked Eijaz how difficult was it to bare his heart out and reveal that part of his life on national TV. We also asked if he found any support inside post that revelation.

Opening up on the revelation itself, Eijaz shared, “When the entire episode happened, we were told to judge whose trauma was most tragic. Aly stood up for me and said that it must have been the worst for me because I was alone and had no one to speak to about it. He acknowledged it and that is why I got the immunity stone. Only because of Aly whereas other people knew the truth but they did not want to support me because of their own reasons.” He further elaborated, “Yes, it was a rollercoaster emotion for me and I am still trying to come to terms with it. People used that to trigger me, I have gone to the confession room and cried and I have gone and begged them that if people are triggering me about this, I am not equipped or trained to react to this trigger in the house because earlier no one used that point to trigger me as no one knew about it.”

Did you find any support inside though, people who understood this? “There were a few but then people used that point. They still touched me when I was angry, they still told me ‘touch se problem hi tereko’, Come on, people whom I loved inside made fun of it. ‘Are tumko toh touch se problem tha na’ that broke me,” he exclaimed and added, “I feel I lost a bit of humanity inside. I realised people are not kind all the time.”

He also emphasized that whatever happened inside, he still considers everyone a family. ” Bigg Boss is a fast tracked amplified life and I give people benefit of doubt. I have worked with children who have been affected by the trauma, and I know how to approach them and make them comfortable and the exact opposite to me was having inside. But, nonetheless, I love them, they are family now. In every family, you have people you don’t like at some point but eventually you say f*ck it, they are family.”

Many-a-times, we saw that contestants did take a dig at you for ‘touching’ during a fight while you did not like getting touched yourself. How did you react to that? “I want people to actually read how therapy works. If there is physical or mental trauma, what is advisable is to start having physical contact in a secured way so that the person can get more confident, you don’t pull down that person by taunting him. That is not what you should do. It broke me so many times, and how many times can a person break, then I was like mujhe farak nahi padta.”

Lastly, he assured his supporters and fans that he won’t let them down.
