Lalit Modi Dismisses Reports Of Participating In Bigg Boss 20; States, “I Am Not Participating”

Businessman and former IPL chairman Lalit Modi has strongly denied reports claiming that he will be participating in the upcoming season of Bigg Boss 20. Calling the reports “fake news,” Modi clarified that he has neither been approached for the reality show nor has any intention of participating in it. The clarification came after several reports and social media posts claimed that Modi could be among the contestants of the 20th season of the popular reality show, which is hosted by Salman Khan. The contestant list for the upcoming season has not yet been officially announced.

Taking to social media, Lalit Modi addressed the speculation directly and expressed his displeasure over reports being published without verifying the information with him. “FAKE NEWS. PERIOD. I have NOT been approached for Bigg Boss 20. I am NOT participating in Bigg Boss 20. And I have NO intention of doing so. Amazing how a completely fabricated story can become ‘news’ without anyone bothering to ask the person concerned,” he wrote.

Modi also questioned the practice of publishing unverified reports. He urged media organisations to verify information with the concerned person before reporting it. “Perhaps next time, verify before you publish,” he added. According to the notice, the reports claiming that Modi had been approached or signed for the reality show were described as false and baseless. Modi has called on the concerned publications to take down the reports promoting what he says is fake information about his participation.
