Bigg Boss 17 promo: Karan Johar bashes Ankita Lokhande and Mannara Chopra, calls out latter for having ‘double standards’

Bigg Boss season 17 Weekend Ka Vaar is all set to have high-voltage drama with Karan Johar stepping in as host.  This week a lot happened in the house. From Neil-Vicky’s fight, Ankita and Mannara’s equation with Munawar to Tehelka and Abhishek’s fiasco. As per the latest promo shared by the makers, Karan Johar will take potshots at Ankita Lokhande, Mannara Chopra, and Abhishek Kumar for their game in Bigg Boss 17.

In the show’s new promo, Karan could be heard asking Ankita, “Did you take a step back because Munawar’s priority is Mannara right now?” The actress said, “My problem is that I’m an emotional person.” Karan said, “I am like this, I’m emotional, if I feel bad I will say it to your face. We have only heard you say this, it can’t be seen in your actions.” For the uninitiated, Mannara has been a close friend of Munawar and this does not go down well with Ankita. She even admitted the same to Munawar.

As for Mannara, Karan said she only has one task, “Asking for validation of her friendship.” Karan called her out for not taking a stand for Munawar Faruqui after he was nominated by Anurag. Karan said, “Is this friendship? According to me, it’s hypocrisy.” He added, “It’s called having double standards.”

Abhishek Kumar has a major breakdown

Next, we see a glimpse of an ugly fight that will break out between Abhishek and Sunny. The latter will be seen grabbing Udaariyaan actor’s collar and charging aggressively. After the brawl, Abhishek will be seen breaking down and shouting, screaming, and howling in frustration. Other housemates will be seen consoling him. The promo ends with Abhishek removing his mike. In the next promo, Karan Johar addresses Abhishek’s behaviour and tells him what he does is not normal.  To this, Abhishek reacts and says, “Sir aap baat kaha se kaha le ja rahe ho”. This irks Karan who then retaliates, “Aap mujhe bataoge ki mai kab baat karu aur chu pho jau”.

Well, apart from this, Abdu Rozik will be greeting housemates. Talking about KJo, this is not the first time he is hosting BB. Earlier, in season 16 and Bigg Boss OTT, he was seen as host.
