Bigg Boss OTT 2: After the viral kissing incident with Jad Hadid, Akanksha Puri gets EVICTED from the show

Salman Khan-hosted show Bigg Boss OTT 2 is one of the most talked-about shows for multiple reasons. After Puneet Superstar was thrown out of the house followed by Palak Purswani and Aaliya Siddiqui’s eviction, Akanksha Puri is the latest contestant to leave the Bigg Boss OTT house. This week, Akanksha Puri, Jiya Shankar and Abhishek Malhan were nominated to leave the show. Salman Khan announced Akanksha’s exit from the house.

Akanksha Puri gets evicted from Bigg Boss OTT 2

For the uninitiated, Akanksha, Jiya and Abhishek were taken to the BBVerse and given a task by Bigg Boss. They were given the opportunity to decide who between them should exit the show. During the task, Abhishek and Akanksha took Jiya’s name whereas Jiya picked Akanksha. The trio debated for a long time on who should leave the show before Salman Khan announced Akanksha’s exit.

Akanksha grabbed attention for many reasons on the show. From ugly fights with Bebika Durve to friendship with Palak Purswani and her kiss with Jad Hadid, Akanksha has been in the news since day one.

On Sunday’s Weekend Ka Vaar, Salman bashed Akanksha and Jad for the kissing incident. Furthermore, Salman Khan also bashed Jad for showing his ‘butt’ to Bebika Durve. The Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan actor told Jad, “Try this in Abu Dhabi, try this in the CGC belt, try this in Saudi Arabia.” Jad apologised for the same saying, “Sir it was a mistake. I admit it.”

The actor said, “A lot of people may not find anything wrong with what you did. But a lot of people may find it offensive. India is a very conservative country… it’s also a very forgiving country. We all have been forgiven by the people of this country a million times. And you? They loved you. They way you were, even though they did not understand the language, they loved you, they loved Abdu (Rozik)… till these two incidences.”

Post Puneet, Palak, Aaliya and Akanksha’s eviction, Jad Hadid, Jiya Shankar, Abhishek Malhan, Pooja Bhatt, Cyrus Broacha, Bebika Durve, Manisha Rani, Falaq Naaz, and Avinash Sachdev are now competing against each other.
