Bigg Boss OTT 2: Pooja Bhatt REVEALS the reason why she chose not to have children

Bigg Boss OTT 2 just started a few days ago and a lot of revelations are made back to back. Contestant Pooja Bhatt has openly spoken about why she didn’t debut with the film Aashiqui and how she got over her alcoholism. In the latest episode of Bigg Boss OTT 2, the actress opened up about her broken marriage and revealed she didn’t want to have kids.

The actress spoke about her broken marriage with Bebika Dhurve, she said, “I was married for almost 11 years. Then we decided that something is not right so why live a lie? This was not a dress rehearsal, we get only one chance.” When Bebika further asked if her former husband was an actor, Pooja answered positively, saying, “He was not an actor, but he belonged to the media business, and he was a good man.”

Pooja also told Bebika that she doesn’t get along well with Capricons and the reason behind it is because he ex-husband was one. Bebika Dhurve went on to tell Pooja that Capricons generally become good fathers. This is when Pooja revealed the reason behind not having any kids. She said, “That time, my heart was not in place. I didn’t want to have kids when I want kids, and I love kids. But then, I didn’t want to have kids and I couldn’t lie. At the risk of never meeting somebody it is okay but I cannot live a lie. When we lie, the blame game starts and I didn’t want that. Whatever it was, it was good. We maintained dignity and parted ways.”

The actress debuted in Bollywood with the movie Daddy in 1989. She is the daughter of Mahesh Bhatt and half-sister of actress Alia Bhatt. Pooja Bhatt was married to Indian VJ Manish Makhija. The two parted ways in 2014 after 11 years of marriage.

Bigg Boss OTT 2 is hosted by Salman Khan. The reality show premiered on 17 June and is currently streaming on JioCinema.
