Bigg Boss 20: Salman Khan Defends Aman Gandhi Over Yung DSA’s Femininity Remark, Praises Isha Rikhi For Maintaining Her Dignity After Eviction

The recent Bigg Boss 20 Weekend Ka Vaar episode was quite eventful. Host Salman Khan was seen making some strong statements when it came to creating and circulating AI and deepfake content as well as speaking about the ongoing drama in the BB20 house. The recent episode saw the actor-host addressing Yung DSA’s controversial femininity remark against Aman Gandhi as well as commending Isha Rikhi for maintaining her compose and dignity following her eviction.

Salman Khan Defends Aman Gandhi Over Yung DSA’s Femininity Remark

Salman Khan came to the forefront while addressing Yung DSA’s controversial femininity remark against Aman Gandhi during the latest episode of Bigg Boss 20. Questioning the choice of words used during the confrontation, Salman highlighted how references to women, bangles and traditionally feminine symbols were being used as a way to put someone down.

The discussion took place after the ration task was cancelled and Bigg Boss gave the housemates an opportunity to win a luxury basket containing food items. Aman won the task but was given a condition where he had to choose a fellow contestant whose “life” would be taken. Aman chose Yung DSA, which subsequently led to a confrontation between the two. During their argument and a later diss battle, Yung made remarks using femininity and women as a way of insulting Aman.

Addressing the matter, Salman questioned the very idea behind using such references as an insult. Khan said, “I understand you were angry. I understand you wanted to diss him. Tell me one thing. What does your mother wear at home? Nawari? Kashta? Bangles? Bracelet? Like me? Torn shoes like me? If she wears Kashta, Nawari, Saree, does she do anything wrong? So, what is this way of dissing? That you call someone a woman.”

Salman Points Out The Contradiction Between Speaking About Women’s Rights & Then Using Femininity As An Insult Inside The House

Salman Khan also pointed out the contradiction between speaking about women’s rights and then allowing femininity to be used as an insult inside the house. He said, “In this house, you talk about women’s rights. But when you tell Aman to wear bangles, your entire group was supporting you. Amrapali and Love. You didn’t stop Yung either.”

Khan further questioned the mindset behind the commonly used expression involving bangles and women, while also bringing Yung’s family into the conversation. He said, “And you have a mother and sisters. You love them like crazy. So, how were you okay with someone saying that we don’t wear bangles? That means you are talking about your own mother and sister. That my mother and sisters wear bangles. They are the weaker sex.”

Salman also acknowledged that such expressions can sometimes come out casually because they have been part of popular culture for years, but encouraged Yung to rethink the language used while trying to diss someone. He said, “Sometimes it comes in the flow. Because this dialogue has been in my mind since childhood. Change that cliché dialogue to, ‘I have worn a bracelet.’” The episode saw Yung DSA apologise to Aman.

Salman Khan Praises Isha Rikhi

Isha Rikhi’s Bigg Boss 20 journey came to an end with words of appreciation from host Salman Khan, who praised the actress for the way she conducted herself inside the house. As Isha bid farewell to the reality show, Salman told her, “Well played, Isha Rikhi. You kept your dignity. Very good.”

Salman’s words summed up one of the defining aspects of Isha’s journey on the show. From the beginning, Isha had expressed her intention to remain genuine and play the game with dignity. Before entering the Bigg Boss 20 house, she had said that she wanted to be her real self and experience every emotion without creating a carefully curated image.

Throughout her time inside the house, Isha was seen taking a relatively composed approach to disagreements and conversations. At a time when the Bigg Boss house often witnessed heated arguments and changing equations, her calm demeanour and measured way of expressing her opinions became an important part of her personality on the show. Her exit also became an emotional moment for the contestants, particularly Kanika Mann, who was seen breaking down after Isha’s elimination.
