The actress lost her father on April 20 to cardiac arrest, and within two days tested COVID positive. Hina is quarantining at home but is feeling ‘helpless now. In a recent heart-wrenching post, Hina Khan expressed how she cannot console her mother after her father’s demise as she is in quarantine.

She feels helpless, but she believes on tough people can come out of difficult situations, and she is very strong. Hina Khan asked fans, friends and her dear ones to keep her and her family in their prayers to help win this battle. She urged them to ‘pray’ for her and her family in these tough times as that’s the only ray of hope.

An emotional Hina Khan wrote, “A Helpless Daughter, who can’t even be with her mother to comfort her when she needs her the most. Dear people, times are tough very tough for not just us, but everyone around. But there’s a saying, ‘Tough times don’t last, Tough people, do.’ And I am, was and will always be my Daddy’s Strong Girl. Send in your prayers, please. Let there be light. Dua.”
