Neha Bhasin is a popular singer and songwriter. She has given Bollywood some amazing songs. As many know, she was a part of the Karan Johar-hosted show Bigg Boss OTT season 1. She was also seen in the Salman Khan-hosted show Bigg Boss 15. From her bond with Pratik Sehajpal to fights with fellow contestants, Neha had grabbed a lot of attention. Recently, in the latest episode of Bollywood Bubble’s Podcast Let’s Talk With Bollywood Bubble, Neha Bhasin recalled being slut-shamed and also revealed how Bigg Boss caused her trauma and anxiety.

Neha recalls being slut-shamed

When asked about getting slut-shamed by trolls, Neha said, “Of course, it affected me. I don’t want to lie about it. I don’t want somebody else who maybe feeling affected right now to feel they need to be brave about it.” The singer further mentioned that she wonders how people think such things. “I get very surprised that how do people feel so brutal that they want to hurt people so much,” added Neha.

She went on to add that she has overcome it. She said, “These people didn’t put the food on my table. They didn’t wipe my tears when I was alone. They didn’t give me work. And they weren’t there when my dad passed away or when he had cancer and I had to every weekend go and look after him. They weren’t there for my good or bad moments and they didn’t live my life. I feel it’s very sad that people feel its important to look at my outward appearance. Even today I feel that.”

Neha reveals Bigg Boss caused her anxiety

Neha Bhasin and Pratik Sehajpal’s bond made headlines for multiple reasons back then. She was attacked and judged by the trolls for her bond with Pratik. When asked about it, she told us, “I had a very difficult year after that but I think it’s okay now, it’s over. But I want to say one thing that it was the last straw and what Bigg Boss has given me is freedom to completely rise above human assholery.”

The singer added, “I don’t want to care anymore. Even after Bigg Boss the trauma I went through, the nights I’ve been through or the anxieties I’ve gone through, they were not there for it. People who were there are still with me. My husband, my family, my friends and few people from the fraternity and I think they’re the only ones that matter and of course the true fans.”
