Sasural Simar Ka 2: Not Dipika Kakar, THIS actress to play the main lead in the show?

Sasural Simar Ka 2 is returning to Colors finally after a long time. Dipika Kakar recently shared her first look for the second season and shared her excitement of being Simar again. However, Dipika Kakar won’t be headlining the show completely. Sasural Simar Ka 2 will take the same route as Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2 where Devoleena Bhattacharjee had entered for a cameo of few days. Dipika too will be seen in a cameo bringing back the nostalgia before letting the second generation take the story forward. While Dipika Kakar won’t be seen in the main role, it has been reported that youngster Radhika Muthukumar has bagged the role of the female lead on the show. 

Radhika Muthukumar was seen as the lead in Kya Haal Mr. Panchaal. Avinash Mukherjee might be seen playing the main lead. Karan Sharma will be seen playing one of the pivotal roles, on the other hand, Tanya Sharma will play the second lead girl. Apart from them, Shital Thakkar, Arav Chowdhury, Waseem Mushtaq, Leena Prabhu, Maera Mishra, Rakshit Wahi, Avinash Sahijwani has been roped in for the show.

Meanwhile, about playing Simar again, Dipika Kakar said, “I have maintained that Simar is a part of me and will always be alive in me. I may have played the character for six years, but I continue to live it till date. People in my Sasural still address me as Simar.” She further added, “Also, as an artiste, I have never thought that I won’t go back to a show or down the same path.”

According to reports, Sasural Simar Ka will start with original Simar and Prem played by Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim.
