Actress Shweta Tiwari became a household name for her role in ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’. And post that there was no looking back. The gorgeous actress went on to feature in several hit shows and did some regional films too.

Recently, Tiwari was in the news after her daughter Palak accused Abhinav Kohli of domestic violence. Abhinav is Shweta’s second husband. Looks like Shweta has moved on and decided to let nothing hamper her as well as her kid’s happiness. Shweta recently opened up on her second marriage and called it a poisonous infection.

Referring to Abhinav’s domestic violence and the problem in their marriage, Tiwari told Hindustan Times, “There was an infection which was hurting me badly, I got it removed. People thought it was my hand, part of my body, but they need to understand it was poisonous and I had to take it out. And now, I am healthy again. Don’t think I am trying to portray myself happy, I am actually happy.”

Talking about moving ahead, the actress said if one part of her life goes wrong, she won’t stop leading her life. “I have to look after my life, my kids, their school, their doctor, my house, my phone and electric bills,” shared the actress.

Shweta also hit back at trolls who were questioning her failed marriage.“I want to ask those people who are saying how can her marriage go wrong even for the second time. I want to ask them why can’t things go wrong. At least, I have the courage to face it and come out in open and talk about the problem. Whatever, I am doing today is for the betterment of my family and my kids. I think I am better than them at least I have guts to come out and say dude I don’t want to stay with you,” said the former ‘Bigg Boss’ winner.

Tiwari was earlier married to Raja Chaudhary. She divorced him in 2007 after nine years of marriage. She had married Abhinav in 2013.

On the work front, Tiwari will be next seen in ‘Mere Dad Ki Dulhan’ show alongside Varun Badola.
