Fans of The Family Man has been eagerly waiting for its second season. On January 13, the makers had released a teaser announcing that the trailer will release on January 19. But, it was not released which led to speculations that the series might get postponed. Well, the Amazon Prime Video series has been postponed to summer 2021. It was slated to release on February 12.

Director duo Raj and DK shared the update on social media. They tweeted, “We know you have been eagerly waiting for the new season of The Family Man. We are truly grateful and humbled by all the love! We have an update for you. The Family Man Season 2 will premiere on Amazon Prime Video this summer! We have been working super hard to get you a kickass season. And we are pretty sure you will love it. Can’t wait to bring it to you!”

Manoj Bajpayee had earlier shared the teaser video and wrote, “Aa raha hoon bhai, on the way hoon. Trailer out on 19th Jan #TheFamilyManOnPrime (sic).”

Reportedly, the show was delayed due to Tandav controversy. PTI quoted a source as saying, “The show has been postponed as the platform appears to be cautious. There’s nothing in season two of The Family Man that would hurt anybody but given the current scenario, to be on a safer note it has been decided to push ahead the release of the show.”

The Family Man Season 1 released in 2019. It starred Manoj Bajpayee and Priya Mani. Samantha Akkineni is the new addition.
