On Thursday, she shared a screenshot of a chat in which someone claimed that a vendor had agreed to arrange her trip to Cannes. But she would need to pay Rs 80 lakh. Uorfi posted the conversation and wrote, “80 lakhs for Cannes? Mai India me theek hu! Itna kya desperation badh gaya hai Cannes ka that people are ready to pay 80 lakhs!!!! (sic).”

In recent years, many influencers have attended Cannes, with some reports suggesting they paid to walk the red carpet. However, many influencers clarified that they did not pay and attended as part of brand collaborations.

Recently, Uorfi also posted on her Instagram story that she is still waiting for a major opportunity. She shared, “I still feel I haven’t reached my full potential. I keep asking the universe, mera time kab ayega? With every step I took, I just wanted to be accepted by people, appreciated (sic).”
