Gautam Rode and JD Majethia attended the funeral of Vaibhavi Upadhyaya. The Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai actress died in a car accident on Tuesday.

Vaibhavi Upadhyaya, who is popularly known for playing a pivotal role in the TV show Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai, died in a car accident on Tuesday. Reportedly, Vaibhavi was with his fiancé when her car got hit by a truck. Vaibhavi suffered severe head injuries and was declared dead. Vaibhavi was reportedly not wearing her seat belt. Fortunately, Vaibhavi’s fiancé survived the car crash. Vaibhavi Upadhyaya’s sudden demise has left everyone heartbroken. Gautam Rode and JD Majethia among others attended the funeral of Vaibhavi Upadhyaya.

JD Majethia remembers late actress Vaibhavi…

JD Majethia spoke to the media as he remembered the late actress. The Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai actor said, “Vaibhavi was one person, one actress who was so talented. She didn’t get her due. Woh bohot deserve karti thi. Usko bohot kuch milna chahiye tha accha kaam. Aur mein usko bola bhi tha. Toh woh bolti thi ki ‘Sir Sarabhai revive kar dijiye na, mera due muje mil jayega’. I will miss Vaibhavi as an actor aur bohot acha kaam kiya.” He further went on to add that her family is going through a difficult time.

Following Vaibhavi’s death, JD Majethia also took to his Instagram and penned an emotional note. A part of his note read, “Unbelievable that life can be so unpredictable. A very fine actress and a dear friend Vaibhavi Upadhyaya very popularly known as ‘Jasmine’ of Sarabhai vs Sarabhai passed away.”
