Taapsee Pannu in Naam Shabana

Taapsee Pannu’s character named Shabana, in the movie ‘Baby’ had impressed one and all. So much so, that the makers dedicated a whole prequel to it. Titled ‘Naam Shabana‘, the trailer of the same had everyone biting their nails in anxiety as Taapsee impressed us with her fierce act. The lady who wowed us in ‘PINK’ is surpassing herself with each role.

If you thought that it is just the theme of the movie that can give you goose pimples, try the soundtrack. After the mushy ‘Rozaana’, the makers have now released a motivating life anthem ‘Zinda’. The song is a tribute to all those battered souls who think they cannot rise after taking a hard fall.

Taapsee as Shabana is fierce and dedicated. We can’t wait to see more of her in the movie. The video depicts her training nd the hardships that come with it, and Taapsee exudes her emotions perfectly. Sunidhi Chauhan’s voice gives one just the right pinch of power that was required to give the softness of the song a kick, and suits Shabana’s character perfectly. Just like ‘Just Go To Hell Dil’ from last year’s ‘Dear Zindagi’, Sunidhi has made sure that she strums our heartbeats with her voice. Rochak Kohli’s composition is lovely and Manoj Muntashir’s lyrics are powerful enough to jolt you awake from the reverie of defeat that life may have presented you with. Manoj Bajpayee impresses us in the brief appearance. (Also Read: Watch: ‘Sorry Bhaiya’ dialogue promo from ‘Naam Shabana’ is impactful)
