Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh is currently going through a fantastic phase in his career. The macho star has given a hat-trick of the blockbuster of films i.e. ‘Padmaavat’, ‘Simmba’ and ‘Gully Boy’. Ranveer is creating new milestones everyday and is hungry for more success.

Now, according to reports, Ranveer Singh could be working with director Meghna Gulzar. Meghna is already doing a film with Ranveer’s wife i.e. Deepika Padukone which has been titled ‘Chhapaak’.

A report in Bollywood Hungama has stated that Meghna has been working and researching the story for a while now. According to sources, the ‘Ram Leela’ actor is likely to essay the role of Sam Manekshaw in the movie which will be produced by Ronnie Screwvala. Though, no official confirmation has been made yet regarding this.

Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw was popularly known as Sam Bahadur. He was the Chief of the Army Staff of the Indian Army during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. Manekshaw was a legendary figure and the first Indian Army officer to be promoted to the rank of field marshal.

Coming back to ‘Chhapaak’, the film is based on the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. This feature film tells a heroic tale about how you should never give up in life.
