Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali had last teamed up for Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor’s debut film ‘Saawariya’, in which the super Khan had a cameo. Since then, though the two wished to work together, but somehow, nothing worked in their favour. And now we hear rumours making the rounds of the two finally collaborating once again, for a film. This film is apparently the one that Karan Johar wanted to make but for some reasons, it could not see the light. The film that we are talking about is ‘Shuddhi’.

As per reports, SLB has purchased the rights of the bestselling novel, ‘The Immortals of Meluha’, penned by Amish Tripathi. The mythological story based on the life of Lord Shiva has caught the ‘Bajirao Mastani’ director’s attention and apparently he wants Salman Khan to be the lead in this film. Reports state that SLB has approached Salman for it and supposedly the ‘Dabangg’ Khan has also given a positive nod to this film. We await the official confirmation though. As of now SLB is gearing up for his next magnum-opus ‘Padmavati’ that stars Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor, essaying the roles of Sultan Alauddin Khilji, Queen Padmavati, and Raja Rawal Ratan Singh, respectively. The film is slated to make it to the theatres in the month of November. There are a lot expectations from this film as his last venture ‘Bajirao Mastani’ starring Ranveer and Deepika was a fabulous one.

Talking about Salman Khan, he is busy shooting for his next film ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ in which he would be sharing screen space with Katrina Kaif. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ will make it to the theatres in the month of December. We can’t wait for this one!
