Salman to launch newcomers

Salman Khan has produced movies like ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, ‘Hero’ and ‘Tubelight’ under his banner Salman Khan Films. The actor-turned-producer had launched Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty in Bollywood with the film ‘Hero’. Though his last release ‘Tubelight’ didn’t do well at the box office, the actor is still keen on continuing his role as a producer.

One of the films Salman will be producing will launch his brother-in-law Aayush Sharma. The official announcement of the movie will be made soon. The actor will also be producing another film which will also star newcomers. The movie will be a co-produced by Murad Khetani and Ashwin Varde. When it comes to his films as an actor, Salman will next be seen in Ali Abbas Zafar’s ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’. The movie, which is a sequel of 2012 release ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, also stars Katrina Kaif. The film will be hitting the screens on December 22, 2017.

He was also supposed to star in Remo D’Souza’s next, but then few days ago, there were reports that Salman has opted out of the film, and Varun will be replacing him in the movie. The movie also stars Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead role, and recently while talking about the same, the actress had stated, “The movie hasn’t been shelved, it has been pushed. The line ups have been changed a little bit. So, I am trying to figure out what’s going to work best for the team that we have existing. Remo does want to make this film and Salman is very keen. There has been no official announcement on it, so people are just figuring out something.”

When she was asked about Varun replacing Salman in the movie, Jacqueline had said, “I don’t know. I have no idea about that. It hasn’t been communicated to me.”
