Sonam Kapoor thanks Amitabh Bachchan but why?

Sonam Kapoor is currently riding high with her recent venture ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ with Salman Khan breaking records at the box office. The tall lady was applauded enough for her impeccable acting skills, giving a much-needed boost to her career. She is now gearing up for her next film titled ‘Neerja Bhanot’ wherein she will be the protagonist Neerja.

Movie ‘Neerja Bhanot’ is a story of a flight attended named Neerja who sacrificed her life to save the passengers on a flight hijacked by the terrorist. The movie is based on a true story and Sonam will be seen as the flight attendant. The movie directed by Ram Madhvani is set to release next year and the promotions of the film have already begun.

Sonam recently appeared on Amitabh Bachchan’s show ‘Aaj Ki Raat Hai Zindagi’ and was left spellbound by Mr. Bachchan’s knowledge about Neerja. She posted a picture with Big B on Instagram with a caption, “Thank you amit uncle for being so kind and supportive always and hand holding me through the show! You knew so much about Neerja!! I’m so happy I got to speak about Neerja for the first time on a platform that celebrates unsung heroes.. Tons of love always!”

Neerja Bhanot was surely no less than a hero and we just hope that Sonam does justice to her role.
