November 26 will forever remain etched in the memories of everyone’s lives. It has been around eleven years since the horrific terror attacks took place in Mumbai in 2008. For the martyrs and the innocent victims, tributes started pouring in from all the quarters including celebrities and significant personalities on social media.

Bollywood celebs like Amitabh Bachchan, Madhur Bhandarkar, Arjun Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and others took to their social media handles to pay emotional tribute to the courageous martyrs who lost their lives in one of the deadliest terror attacks that India ever witnessed.

Padma Vibhushan Amitabh Bachchan wrote, “Salute…in the sacrifice and the honour”

‘Zero’ actress Anushka Sharma expressing her thoughts wrote, “A humble salute to all the martyrs of the ghastly and horrific 26/11 terror attacks. Our thoughts and prayers will always be with the families of all the soldiers and civilians who lost their lives in this incident. Never Forget Jai Hind”

Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar also paid tribute. “Remembering the real heroes who saved the city 11 years ago on 26/11, My heartfelt tribute to all those martyrs and innocent civilians who lost their lives in Mumbai Terror Attack.”

Mumbai witnessed the deadly attack in 2008 for four consecutive days. 10 terrorists from Pakistan had attacked India’s commercial capital at five major locations. Ajmal Kasab was the only terrorist captured alive. Nearly 166 people lost their lives and more than 250 people were injured in this terror attack.
