Sidharth-and-Jacqueline

Till now, CBFC was all about making the Indian Cinema sanskari. No kissing, no female-oriented films and no vulgarity and if you dared to do anything unconventional, brace yourself for some sanskari lessons coming your way from Mr Pahlaj Nihalani. Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez’s upcoming film ‘A Gentleman’ too seemed to be the victim of this unwanted censorship. Reports had it that apparently a kiss from the film had to be removed or was cut short because CBFC had a problem with it.

“The lead pair’s kiss just went on and on unnecessarily, just like the smooch in the James Bond film and Ranbir Kapoor-Anushka Sharma in ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’. We’ve asked them to take it easy. The film is titled ‘A Gentleman’, but the hero seems to forget his manners while kissing,” had quoted a source over this kiss.

But contrary to this, Sidharth Malhotra has rubbished all these reports. At the song launch of ‘Bandook Meri Laila’, Sidharth refused any such cut. He was quoted saying, “Kissing scene is there. It has not been cut.”

Talking about ‘Bandook Meri Laila’, Sidharth Malhotra has showed off his rapping skills in this song. Directed by Raj and DK this film will feature Sidharth in a double role, with Jacqueline being the leading lady. It is slated to release on August 25, 2017. After ‘Brothers’ it is for the second time that these two are collaborating for a film. While in the former Jacqueline was paired with Sidharth’s onscreen elder brother played by Akshay Kumar, it will be the first time when we will see them together as a pair. So far, their chemistry has been sizzling and is grabbing a lot of eyeballs too. Let’s watch how it is in the film. (Also Check: Jacqueline’s hotness quotient saves the track ‘Bandook Meri Laila’)
