EXCLUSIVE: ‘He supported me emotionally,’ REVEALS Aaliya Siddiqui about the ‘new man’ in her life amid divorce with Nawazuddin Siddiqui

Salman Khan-hosted show Bigg Boss OTT 2 is one of the most talked-about shows for multiple reasons right now. After Palak Purswani’s elimination, Aaliya Siddiqui, the estranged wife of actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, had to leave the Bigg Boss house after a surprise mid-week eviction took place on the show.

Following her exit, Aaliya sat down for an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble. In the candid conversation, Aaliya opened up about the ‘new man’ in her life amid divorce with Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Earlier this month, Aaliya shared a photo with a mystery man and broke the internet.

Aaliya Siddiqui spills the beans on her new relationship

Aaliya shares two kids (daughter Shora and son Yaani) with estranged husband Nawazuddin Siddiqui. So, when asked about her daughter’s reaction to her ‘new man’, Aaliya shared, “Meri beti ne mujhse pucha tha. Maine unko bola mera friend hai aur kuch bhi nahi hai. Aisa kuch bhi nahi hai. Aur usne mujhe bola bhi ki mumma agar aap mujhe sach bataoge toh mein aapki respect karungi. Aur mein apne beti ko jaroor bataungi iss relationship ke baare mein but right time nahi hai. Har time aata hai aur abhi woh time nahi hai (My daughter asked me about him. He is my friend and nothing more. My daughter told me if you tell me the truth, I will respect you. And I will definitely tell my daughter about this relationship but when the time is right. Now is not the right time).”

Aaliya added, “Woh thodi mature hojaye ek-do saal. Mera shaadi ko leke toh kuch hai nahi bas friendship hai. Ek saath chahiye, dosti chahiye, kisike saath waqt guzarna hai. Uske alawa aur kya hai? Koi aisa toh hai nahi ki live-in mein reh rahe ho ya shaadi kar rahe ho. Ek relationship tha, ek feeling thi aur maine share kardia. Usse jyada badkar kuch bhi nahi hai (Let her get a little mature one-two years. I have no plans of getting married and there’s only friendship. You need someone, a friend with whom you spend time. It’s not like we are in a live-in relationship. There’s nothing more than friendship).”

How did they meet?

She revealed, “He is from Italy. Hum party mein mile the. Usko meri aankhein achi lagi thi aur mujhe uska face acha laga. Humne baat kia aur baat karte karte meri yeh jo life ke cheezein ho rahi thi peechle maine, uss beech mein bohot connect kia usne merese aur bohot support kia mujhe mentally. (We met at a party. He liked my eyes and I loved his face. We started talking and during my difficult time he supported me a lot mentally).”Aaliya further called him ‘intelligent and a gentleman’.

During the candid conversation, Aaliya opened up about her divorce with Nawazuddin. She again made it clear that Nawazuddin and she are not officially divorced yet.
