Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan is very active on social media. Her pictures and videos are loved by her fans. Ira is dating her fitness trainer Nupur Shikhare and their pictures are super cute. Ira is also known to be battling depression and she is not pushing it under the rug. She has been quite vocal about her struggle and keeps updating her fans about her mental health and the ways in which she is coping. Recently Ira posted a video on her social media handle where she talked about how her depression manifests and times when she completely crashes.

In the video, she said, “I do not do drugs, I do not harm myself, I do not drink too much, I do not have too much coffee, my depression does not work like that. I do not have immediate life-threats. That is not how my depression manifests.” Ira said that she piles stuff up over time and when it gets too much she eventually crashes. She also said that it gives her a sense of relief.

Sharing the video on her Instagram account, Ira penned a note in the caption, that reads, “Me: So now what? Therapist: I don’t know. There are lots of parts to me. This is conflict between two of them that very seriously effects my attempts at healing from my overall depression. But the burn outs are getting longer so now I have to try harder. The plan is to reduce the frequency and intensity of my burn outs. I don’t need to change my entire being and functioning. Working a lot isn’t a bad thing, trying to do a lot isn’t a bad thing – not always. There’s a point after which it gets unhealthy. That’s what I need to find. That balance. Because working also brings me joy.(sic)”
