Aamir Khan’s New Girlfriend Gauri Spratt Opens Up About Falling In Love With The 60-Year-Old Actor, Says, “Wanted Someone Who Was…”

Actor Aamir Khan introduced his ladylove, Gauri Spratt, during an interaction with the media on the eve of his 60th birthday. During the same event, he also responded to a playful media queries. At her meet with media, Gauri opened up about what she was looking for in her partner and why she chose Aamir.

Spratt, who’s the mother of a six-year-old, shared with the media that it was Aamir Khan’s kindness that helped her fall for him. Revealing that she has only seen two films of Aamir Khan — Lagaan and Dil Chaahta Hai — Gauri said, “I wanted someone who was kind, a gentleman, and just caring.” In response, Aamir, in jest, said, “And after all that, you found me?”

Talking about Gauri, Aamir said, “I was looking for someone I can be calm with, who gives me peace. And there she was. I have tried to tell her how it will be, the media madness, and prepare her somewhat for it. She isn’t used to it. But we are hoping that you guys will be kind.” At the same event, Aamir shared that he had known Gauri for 25 years, but they were not in touch until two years back, and fell in love. “She grew up in Bangalore, and her exposure was to different kinds of films and arts. So she doesn’t watch Hindi films. She has probably not seen much of my work, either. She doesn’t see me as a superstar but as a partner. But I do want her to watch Taare Zameen Par,” shared Aamir.

While Khan and Spratt are in a happy relationship, the marriage is not on the cards. He said, “See, we are fully committed. And I have been married twice. Par ab 60 saal ki umar mein shaadi shayad mujhe shobha nahi degi (Now getting married at 60 wouldn’t suit me). But let’s see (sic).”

Workwise, Aamir will next be seen in ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’, which is slated to hit the screens as the big Christmas release this year on December 25.
