Actor and YouTuber Rahul Vohra breathed his last on May 9. The actor lost his battle to Coronavirus. A popular face on digital platforms, Rahul was just 35. The actor passed away hours after sharing a plea for ‘better treatment’ via his Facebook post.

Seeking help for better treatment, Rahul in his last post wrote, “Mujhe bhi accha treatment mil jaata to mai bhi bach jaata tumhara IRahul Vohra. Jald janam lunga or acha kaam karunga. Ab himmat haar chuka hu (I will be reborn and do some good work. Now, I have lost all courage).”

Theatre director-playwright Arvind Gaur mourning Rahul’s demise wrote in Hindi, “Rahul Vohra is gone, my talented actor is no more. It was only yesterday that he told me his life could have been saved if he got better treatment. He was shifted to Ayushman, Dwarka last evening but we could not save him. Please forgive us, we are all your culprits. My last respects.”

Dream Girl director Raaj Shaandilyaa also mourned Rahul’s death. “Rahul I tried everything possible to save you but we failed. You shouldn’t have lost the courage. I still can’t believe you are no more. I am speechless. Om Shanti. Rahul Vohra(sic),” the director tweeted. Anup Soni also offered condolences.

Rahul had featured in Netflix’s film Unfreedom. He had a massive 1.9 million followers on Facebook. He had also worked in theatre. Hailing from Uttrakhand, his videos on YouTube were also quite popular.
