Post his death, there were reports that there was a professional rivalry and allegedly the actor was boycotted from the industry. Following this, names of bigwigs like Karan Johar, Aditya Chopra, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Ekta Kapoor and others cropped up.

Mumbai Police has been thoroughly investigating the claims of ‘professional rivalry’ and recorded statements of 36 people including Sushant’s creative manager Siddharth Pithani, girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, Sanjana Sanghi, Mukesh Chhabra, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, sisters Neetu and Meetu Singh, father KK Singh, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and employees of Yash Raj Films among others.

Also, a CBI probe is demanded into Sushant’s death and the latest to join the bandwagon is Rhea who requested Home Minister Amit Shah to initiate a CBI investigation. Till now, no response is received.
