After Bollywood actor and producer Arbaaz Khan, admitted to having participated in IPL betting, mastermind Sonu Jalan has now taken the name of another well-known Bollywood celebrity in connection with cricket match betting scandal. The celebrity in question is filmmaker Sajid Khan. Sajid is known for his flicks like ‘Heyy Babyy’, ‘Housefull’, ‘Himmatwala’ and ‘Humshakals’ among others.

As reported by ANI, Jalan has said that Sajid Khan, brother of director Farah Khan, used to place bets on cricket matches around 7 years ago. Thane police are investigating Sonu’s claims. However, they have not decided to summon Sajid Khan for joining the investigation yet.

Sajid’s name cropped up when the Thane police summoned actor Arbaaz Khan in connection with the IPL betting. Salman Khan’s brother admitted to having placed bets on IPL matches for six years now. He further revealed that he had been placing bets with bookie Sonu since last six years. Arbaaz further said that Sonu has been threatening him as he owed the bookie Rs. 2.8 crores. Arbaaz was summoned by the Thane Police on Friday after bookie Sonu Jalan aka Sonu Malad revealed his name to the Thane Police Anti-Extortion Cell. Thereafter, the actor promised to cooperate with the police. Arbaaz also confirmed that he didn’t place bets in the recently concluded IPL 2018.

Arbaaz has now named seven other members from the film industry, who were introduced to Jalan by him.
