Previously, the producers of Kalki 2898 AD officially announced Deepika Padukone’s exit from the franchise. Deepika’s Exit From Kalki

Sources later claimed that Deepika was removed from Kalki 2 following a disagreement over her fee and work schedule. It is alleged that she demanded a 25 per cent increase in her fee, along with an 8-hour work shift. Although the producers attempted to negotiate, she reportedly did not accept the revised terms.

Insiders suggest that discussions about Kalki 2 are still in the early stages, with final decisions hinging on script lock, character development, and actor availability.
