After Kill, Ba***ds Of Bollywood, Lakshya Bags Romantic Actioner Alongside Tiger Shroff, Janhvi Kapoor- Report

Recent reports indicate that rising actor Lakshya Lalwani has been signed for another project with Dharma Productions, reportedly featuring Janhvi Kapoor and Tiger Shroff. This marks his fourth film under the Karan Johar banner. The unannounced film is believed to be a revenge-romance with action elements, with Raj Mehta attached as director.

Lakshya To Star In Another Dharma Productions Film

This development comes in the wake of Lakshya’s recent surge in popularity after starring as the lead in Aryan Khan’s Netflix series The Ba***ds of Bollywood. Before that, he appeared in Dharma’s critically acclaimed action film Kill. With multiple Dharma projects reportedly in the pipeline, Lakshya’s profile is poised to rise further, and if these rumours are true, then this will be the actor’s and KJo’s Dharma productions 4th film together.

About The Project

Karan Johar is set to produce a high-concept romantic action drama titled Lag Jaa Gale, featuring Tiger Shroff, Lakshya Lalwani, and Janhvi Kapoor in key roles. Raj Mehta, known for directing Good Newwz and Jugjugg Jeeyo, will helm the project. The title, inspired by the iconic song from Manoj Kumar’s Woh Kaun Thi, was selected after careful consideration.

A source involved in the project shared, “The team was deliberating over several titles and felt that ‘Lag Jaa Gale’ was the most suitable. It’s a revenge action film with a strong love story at its core.” Designed as a grand theatrical experience, the film plans to feature some groundbreaking action sequences with Tiger Shroff. Currently in pre-production, Lag Jaa Gale is expected to commence shooting in early 2026.
