Ajay Devgn shared a close bond with his father, action choreographer Veeru Devgan. Since the demise of his father, the actor has made several posts on his social media, remembering him. He has shared throwback pictures with late Veeru Devgan, reminiscing memories. During his appearance on the adventure show Into The Wild With Bear Grylls, Ajay Devgn opened up about the grief of losing one’s parents. The actor spoke about the death of his father, Veeru Devgan, who passed away in 2019, at the age of 77.

A promo of the upcoming episode was shared by Ajay on his Instagram. The video opens with Bear Grylls and Ajay Devgn shooting their experience somewhere in the Indian Ocean. As the video moves forward, Ajay talks about him as a person while he was growing up. He shared his life experiences. During one such moment in the promo video, the actor got number when he talked about losing his father.

He said, “It is tough losing your parents. Because in the first 20 years of your life, you don’t care for them. You think they are stupid. They don’t know anything. You know everything. And by the time you have children, you start realizing what a parent actually is or what they must have done. And sometimes it gets too late also.

Ajay Devgn further shared, “He was suffering from Alzheimer’s and a lot of injuries because of the stunts. He had to go through a glass once when he was young, and he had 45 stitches on his head because that time glass break was real glass break.

Veeru Devgan breathed his last on May 27, 2019. He suffered a cardiac arrest. Ajay’s father was known for his work in the movies.

On the work front, Ajay Devgn has films Thank God, Sooryavanshi and a few others in the pipeline. He was last seen in the movie Bhuj: The Pride of India.
