Riteish Deshmukh, Kangana Ranaut, Mourn Ajit Pawar After Tragic Death

Riteish Deshmukh took to social media and penned an emotional note as he mourns the death of Ajit Pawar. In his Instagram Story, the actor notes that the politician’s death leaves behind a huge loss and an irreplaceable void. Sharing several pictures of Ajit Pawar, Riteish wrote, “Deeply shocked and terribly heartbroken to learn that we have lost Ajit Dada in a tragic accident. One of Maharashtra’s most dynamic leaders, he had zero tolerance for non-performance and constantly pushed and inspired those around him to excel.”

He further added, “He never minced his words, his wit was unmatched, and he was deeply loved across the state. His untimely demise leaves behind a huge loss and an irreplaceable void. I have had the pleasure of interacting with him numerous times, will always remember for the kindness he showered upon me.”

Actor-politician Kangana Ranaut learned about the tragic news only after being informed about it by photographers stationed outside Parliament in Delhi. In one of the video circulating online from their interaction, Kangana is heard saying, “Oh my god… This is such horrible news…There are not enough words to express… I am sorry ke mujhe toh actually hum log subha bahut jald baazi mein rehte hain (I am sorry, I didn’t know. We usually are in a rush in the morning). I will give a proper statement later after aligning my emotions.”

Expressing his grief following Ajit Pawar’s untimely and shocking death, Ajay Devgn wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “Shocked and saddened by the tragic passing of Hon. Deputy CM Ajit Pawar ji. My heartfelt condolences to his family, loved ones and all those affected by this immense loss. Om Shanti.”

Sanjay Dutt also took to the micro blogging platform to offer his respects. He tweeted, “Shocked and saddened by this tragic loss. He was one of the most dynamic leaders, leaving behind a lasting impact. My deepest condolences to the family and everyone affected. Prayers for strength and peace. Om Shanti”

Anupam Kher also took to X to offer his condolence. He senior actor wrote, “Deeply shocked and Saddened by the tragic passing of Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar dada. Whenever I met him he was very gentle and kind! My thoughts are with his family. Om Shanti.”

Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar – shocked by Ajit Pawar’s death, shared, “Deeply shocked and saddened by the untimely demise of Ajit Pawar ji . A towering figure in state politics, his loss is irreparable. Thoughts are with Sunetra ji , Parth, Jay, & the entire Pawar family members during this incredibly difficult time. Pawan Kalyan, Smriti Irani Offer Condolences

Telugu actor and Deputy CM of Andhra Pradesh, Pawan Kalyan also took to X to offer his condolence. The actor-politician tweeted, “Deeply shocked by the tragic news of the passing of the Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister, President of @mahancpspeaks, and an NDA alliance leader, Sri Ajit Dada Pawar ji @AjitPawarSpeaks, in a devastating plane crash today.”

He continued, “His dedicated public service and immense contributions towards the welfare and development of the people of Maharashtra will always be remembered, and his enduring commitment to the people will continue to be held with respect. I express my profound condolences on his passing and extend my deepest sympathies to his family members, admirers, and party cadre during this moment of immense grief.”

Actor-politician Smriti Irani also took to X to pay her respects. She tweeted, “Shocked and saddened by the untimely passing of Shri Ajit Pawar Ji in the tragic aircraft crash. His service to the people and years of political stewardship will be remembered with respect. My thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families in this hour of grief. Om Shanti”

Ajit Pawar’s Death

The Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, passed away on Wednesday, January 28. His death happened after the aircraft he was travelling in crashed while attempting to land at Baramati in Maharashtra around 9 am, roughly an hour after taking off from Mumbai. As per reports, the deputy CM had left from Mumbai early morning to visit Baramati – his hometown, to attend a public meeting amid ongoing Zilla Parishad and Panchayat Samiti elections.. According to reports, Pawar was travelling with his PSO and an attendant when the Learjet 45 aircraft crash landed.

Ajit Pawar’s brother, Shriniwas Pawar, said his son Yugendra is in the hospital at Baramati. He also stated that the last rites will be held in Baramati.
