Our very own Khiladi aka Akshay Kumar, who was admitted to a Mumbai hospital as a precautionary measure after testing Covid-19 positive, is back home. His wife Twinkle Khanna took to Instagram to share his health update with their fans and followers. The Sooryavanshi actor has recovered and has finally tested negative for Covid-19.

Akshay Kumar was admitted to Mumbai’s Hiranandani Hospital after testing Covid positive. However, according to Twinkle’s latest update, the actor is back home and “All iz well”. “Safe and sound and good to have him back around. #allizwell (sic),” Twinkle wrote. Along with the short note, Twinkle also shared a caricature of herself with her husband.

A few days back, Akshay had confirmed with a note on social media that he has tested positive for the virus. “I wish to inform everyone that, earlier this morning, I have tested positive for COVID-19. Following all the protocols, I have immediately isolated myself. I’m under home quarantine and have sought necessary medical care. I would sincerely request all those that have come in contact with me to get themselves tested and take care. Back in action very soon (sic),” read the actor’s statement on Twitter.

The actor was initially under home quarantine. After he was admitted to the hospital he tweeted, “Thanking everyone for their warm wishes,“Thank you everyone for all your warm wishes and prayers, they seem to be working. I am doing fine, but as a precautionary measure under medical advice, I have been hospitalised. I hope to be back home soon. Take care (sic).”

Akshay was shooting for Ram Setu when he tested positive for the virus. Apparently, 45 junior artistes from the Ram Setu team had also tested positive for Covid-19 around the same time. The shooting of the film has been stalled.
