Alia Bhatt Reveals She Married Ranbir Kapoor For THIS Reason; Find Out

Actress Alia Bhatt appeared on the talk show Two Much With Kajol and Twinkle, where she shared personal stories about her life with husband Ranbir Kapoor and their daughter Raha. She spoke openly about love, marriage, parenthood, and the strong bond she shares with Ranbir Kapoor.

Alia Bhatt Opens Up About Life With Ranbir Kapoor

During the episode, Alia revealed why she married Ranbir, her Brahmastra co-star. She said, “Ranbir and I have a natural friendship. It was never a dreamy, fairy-tale romance. We’ve always felt like best friends.” She added that she married him not just because he is good to her, but also because of who he is as a person. She playfully admitted that they love teasing each other, calling it a natural part of their relationship.

Alia also remembered the time when her father, filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, first met Ranbir while they were dating. She said this meeting was very special and important, especially because it brought her family’s support.

Talking about how things changed after becoming parents, Alia shared, “It’s totally different now. We are a unit. It feels more complete than before.” She said that having Raha brought them even closer as a couple.

Adding some humour, Alia joked about Ranbir being a very protective father. She laughed and said, “I can’t imagine any boy coming to meet Raha in the future, Ranbir would probably kick him out.”

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor got married on April 14, 2022, and welcomed Raha on November 6, 2022.

On the work front, Alia will star in Alpha alongside Sharvari. She will also reunite with Ranbir Kapoor in Love & War, which also features Vicky Kaushal.
