However, their brother Rahul Bhatt recently made a bold statement. In an interview with Hindi Rush, Rahul said that his stepsister Alia is “not even half of what Pooja is.” This comment has surprised many fans. Former Bigg Boss contestant and fitness instructor said, “In my opinion, she is not even half of what my real sister Pooja is, not in talent, not in looks, not in terms of being sexy. In front of my sister, she is ‘paani kam chai (not as good)’. This is my personal opinion. If you ask, amongst all our siblings, who is the most talented, the most moralistic, it is Pooja.”

After praising Alia for understanding public relations well, Rahul added, “Pooja is the true inheritor to take the legacy of my father ahead. I saw her in her stardom. She was the biggest sex symbol of the country at that time.”

Talking about his relationship with Alia, Rahul said that while they are on good terms, they don’t meet very often. Rahul Bhatt, who is now a fitness trainer, has stayed away from the limelight for the most part, unlike his sisters. “She is a mother now. She is very successful, and one can’t just pick up the phone and say ‘I am coming to meet you’. I never shared that with anybody. I like to maintain a certain protocol,” he added.

Rahul’s statement has sparked fresh conversation online, with people reacting to his comparison between Alia and Pooja.

Alia Bhatt’s Upcoming Project

On the acting front, Alia Bhatt is set to appear in YRF’s first female spy film, Alpha. It has been directed by Shiv Rawail and will feature Sharvari in the lead role. This film is slated for release on Christmas 2025. In the meantime, she is also involved in the romantic epic Love & War. It is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and it will be released on March 19, 2026. Reportedly, she is also set to back a young adult web series and will be launching four new faces.
