Aryan Khan’s bail plea REJECTED; Court claims applications are ‘not maintainable’

Aryan Khan has been making headlines for a week now ever since the Narcotics Control Bureau took him into custody for alleged involvement in a drugs case, on October 3. In a fresh development, Aryan Khan has been denied bail by the Court with regards to the case as applications are not maintainable. In Aryan Khan’s defence, his lawyer Satish Maneshinde has mentioned that the starkid has no connection with the organizers and was invited to add a ‘glamour’ quotient to the rave party. Aryan also argued that he is friends with co-accused Arbaaz Merchant but has nothing to do with his activities.

He further argued that confrontation cannot be grounds for custody. But the latest update by Bar and Bench claims that the court rejected Aryan’s bail as the Magistrate said, “Have heard the applications and the submissions. The applications are not maintainable before us and hence rejected.” During his hearing, Aryan was seen being taken to Arthur Road Jail along with the other accused.

NCB had taken Aryan and seven others in custody in connection with their alleged involvement in drugs procured from a cruise ship, which sailed from Mumbai to Goa on October 3. They were then sent to NCB custody till October 7. Following this, the court on Thursday rejected NCB’s request to extend their custody but sent Aryan and seven others into judicial custody for 14 days. Shortly, a bail plea was filed by Aryan Khan where he made 10 arguments and questioned why is he not being interrogated for two nights when he is in the custody.
