Athiya Shetty wishes Suniel Shetty with a beautiful message on his 60th birthday; thanks him for his genes

Off late, Athiya has attracted a lot of attention after pictures of her with rumoured boyfriend KL Rahul and other cricketers with their families having a good time in the UK went viral on social media. Athiya has gotten everyone’s attention yet again, but this time it’s not because of her alleged relationship, but because of her lovely birthday post for dad Suniel Shetty. Athiya wished her father a very happy 60th birthday. Athiya took to Instagram handle to thank him ‘for the genes’ and shared a ‘then and now’ photo with her father.

Suniel Shetty, the veteran actor, celebrates his 60th birthday today, and his daughter went out of her way to make it memorable. The actress shared a series of photos with her father on her Instagram account. One shows a grown-up Athiya leaning on her father, while the other is a throwback from her childhood, with Suniel lying down and holding a baby Athiya in his hands.

In the first black and white picture, Athiya and Suniel posed together during a photo shoot. While Athiya wore a denim jacket over a top, Suniel opted for a white shirt. In the second picture, Suniel is holding up baby Athiya while he rests on the bed. Adorable baby Athiya is seen flaunting white-rimmed sunglasses.

Athiya captioned the post, “Happy 60th, Papa! You are the one I bare my soul to, the one who reads all my thoughts. No words could ever suffice to express my love for you.
