Ayushmann Khurrana receives an uncanny gift after ‘Article 15’ wrap up

Ayushmann Khurrana is going one notch higher and higher with every film. After the enormous success of his last four films – ‘Bareily Ki Barfi’, ‘Shubhmangal Saavdhaan’, ‘Andhadhun’ and ‘Badhaai Ho’ – he has now wrapped up another film, ‘Article 15’. Directed by Anubhav Sinha, this is the first time that Ayushmann will be playing the role of  a cop. To remember this film for life, the actor has received a special gift from the team.

Ayushmann took to social media to share the gift with his fans. It’s a miniature statue of him which is his exact look from ‘Article 15’. With the picture he wrote, “Wrapped up a film which will become the most relevant and important film of Indian cinema. Thank you @anubhavsinhaa sir for giving me this gem and also writing the most real cop role ever. Thanks to the entire cast and crew, esp @ronjinichakraborty and @ashishsverma for this wonderful 3D mini model of mine. Love. It’s a wrap! #Article15 (sic).”

Despite having played mostly light-hearted characters in his life, it will be interesting to see how Ayushmann changes his baritone to suit that of a police officer.
