Meenakshi Chaudhary is all set to make her Hindi debut with Bhagam Bhaag 2 alongside Akshay Kumar. Meenakshi Chaudhary Confirms Being A Part Of Akshay Kumar’s Bhagam Bhaag 2

In an interview with Variety India, Meenakshi Chaudhary confirmed her involvement in Bhagam Bhaag 2. She shared, “I feel like it came at a time when I was looking for something exactly like this. I was looking for scripts that families would enjoy, and having seen the first part when I was younger, I loved it. So getting to be a part of this feels like it arrived at the perfect time when I was searching for something like this.”

Chaudhary also revealed that many projects she received earlier did not resonate with her. “And that is exactly how it happened, because a lot of the other projects that came to me story-wise were not something I was very keen on. When this came along, it just felt like pure laughter. I feel like no matter what age you are or what language you come from, this storyline and character will connect with you. You are going to enjoy it regardless of the language you watch it in.”

Meenakshi On Matching Akshay’s Comic Timing

Regarding her approach to matching Kumar’s renowned comic timing, Chaudhary said she plans to adopt a learner’s mindset. “For me, I think I am just going to be the biggest student on set, like how chelas are around a guru, just following whatever they say. I think I am going to be that on this set and absorb everything I can from him. Not every day do you get an opportunity to work with someone as amazing as he is in his craft.”

She further added, “He knows exactly what he is doing, and seeing that up close is honestly a blessing for any actor. I am so grateful that I get to experience that. Yes, I met the sir and had a narration and everything. I think he is currently busy working on something else. And once that is done, he will jump onto our project.

Continuing, the actress said, “I cannot wait to be on set with the rest of the crew. I met the director too — he is so funny. He has such a great hold over comedy and knows exactly what he is doing. It is a very exciting group of people to be working with.”
