Amidst the Coronavirus crisis, its the essential service providers and medical staff who have emerged as the true blue superhero. And how can we forget the Police force? They have made so many sacrifices to make sure that the lockdown was successful. They all have been working selflessly and dedicatedly despite the health scare to their own lives.

Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ayushmann Khurrana, Hrithik Roshan, Alia Bhatt, Rakul Preet and several other Bollywood celebs thanked the Mumbai Police for keeping the city safe amidst the Coronavirus crisis. They also thanked them for the sacrifices they have made for the sake of others.

Akshay Kumar 

The actor wrote, “There’s an army of people working day and night to keep us safe, our families safe. Lets together say #DilSeThankYou to them because that’s the least we can do”

Ajay Devgn

The ‘Omkara’ actor wrote, “Dear Mumbai Police, you are known as one of the BEST in the world. Your contribution to the COVID-19 pandemic is unparalleled. Singham will wear his Khakee and stand beside you whenever you ask. Jai Hind, Jai Maharashtra”

Hrithik Roshan

The ‘War’ actor wrote in Hindi, “यह घर से बाहर हैं, ताकि हम घरों में सुरक्षित रहें। शुक्रिया मुंबई की पुलिस फोर्स को”

Ayushmann Khurrana

Interestingly he wrote in Marathi, “Tumhala dhanyavad denyasathi mi nishabd jhalo ahe, parantu mi aaj tumhala hrudayapasun dhanyavad det aahe. Jai Hind!”

Alia Bhatt

The ‘Gully Boy’ actress expressed her gratitude saying, “Thank You @MumbaiPolice Words cannot express our love and gratitude. Let’s stay home for them. #TakingOnCorona”

Karan Johar

The filmmaker wrote, “This is the time to show our gratitude to the ones who are working selflessly and tirelessly to keep us safe. Despite being away from their families and loved ones, they work with their spirits high to protect us. And for that, we are very grateful @mumbaipolice. Thank you!”

Shahid Kapoor

The ‘Kabir Singh actor thanked the Mumbai Police saying, “Giving up on their dreams for keeping the city of our dreams safe. Thank You @MumbaiPolice We owe you a lot and staying at home is the least we can do! #TakingOnCorona #MumbaiFirst.”

Arjun Kapoor

Gunday‘ actor expressed his feelings by posting, “We cannot thank the @MumbaiPolice enough in words! Still would like to appreciate the fact that they have been out there everyday, making sure everything goes smoothly and have always been there to protect us. Raveena Tandon

The ‘Mohra’ actress thanked the police Force by writing, “This is the time to thank our Mumbai police, who leave their families at home and are working with untiring efforts for our security and safety.. Thank you @MumbaiPolice we are forever indebted.”

Rakul Preet Singh

The ‘De De Pyaar De’ shared a heartfelt message for the Mumbai Police. “This is the time to heartily thank our Mumbai police, who leaving their families at homes and are working with their high spirit and untiring efforts for our security and safety..Thank you Mumbai Police,” she wrote.

In India, so far 5734 positive cases of Covid-19 has been registered whereas 166 deaths have been reported so far.
