On Wednesday, filmmaker Boney Kapoor shared a video featuring some unseen throwback pictures and behind-the-scenes from the sets of Anil Kapoor and his late wife-actress Sridevi starrer 1987 film, ‘Mr India’ which was produced jointly by Boney and Surinder Kapoor under the former’s banner, Narsimha Enterprises. We’re sure the video will get you nostalgic!

Sharing the video montage, Boney in his caption mentioned that today marks the day when they began started shooting for the film, “It was this day in 1985 that we started shooting for Mr India , sharing some moments from the making of the film,” wrote Boney. In the video, the song Karte Hain Hum Pyaar Mr.India Se is seen playing in the background, written by Javed Akhtar and sung by Kavita Krishnamurthy and Kishore Kumar.

Meanwhile, yesterday, Boney shared a priceless throwback picture of his late wife Sridevi on his official Instagram handle, in which she can be seen donning a white saree during Durga Puja celebrations. The picture dates back to 2012 in Lucknow. The actress can be seen smiling, with the name ‘Boney’ written on her back.

Sharing the picture, Kapoor captioned it as” “In Lucknow celebrating one of the festivities of Durga Puja at Sahara Sahar in year 2012.”

Ever since the producer has joined Instagram, he often digs up old pictures of his late wife-actor Sridevi, his children Khushi Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor and posts them on his official social media handle.

Meanwhile, Boney will be making his acting debut with Luv Ranjan’s upcoming film, which stars Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead.
