Brahmastra starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt has become the talk of the town, all thanks to the larger-than-life scale as well as the terrific VFX that has been used in the film. The movie has now collected Rs 360 crores in just 10 days globally. Having said that, Karan Johar’s production house Dharma Productions is scoring high as Brahmastra is continuing to earn moolah at the box office.

1. Karan Johar and Ayan Mukerji’s third successful venture:

Karan and Ayan Jodi become a hit again with Brahmastra. The two have worked together for Wake Up Sid and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani which were successful ventures. Ahead of the release, KJo had even penned a beautiful note for Ayan where he expressed his love and admiration for Ayan Mukerji. Karan mentioned how he feels protective about him like he does for his twins. Praising him for his dedication to Brahmastra and for working on the project for a decade, Johar feels that his commitment and hard work are already a victory.

2. Dharma’s back-to-back success:

This year, Dharma Productions have delivered not one but three hits with Gehraiyaan starring Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday and Dhariya Karwa. The movie was an OTT release and yet it turned out to be successful. On the other hand, JuggJug Jeeyo starring Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani was also a hit at the box office and the latest one is Brahmastra. Well, Dharma is really hitting the ball out of the park with its releases.

 

3. Ranbir Kapoor’s 4th hit with Dharma:

Ranbir Kapoor has worked with Dharma in four films: Wake Up Sid, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Brahmastra. Interestingly, his collaboration with KJo is turning out to be fruitful as all of them were very well received by the audience.

4. Alia Bhatt’s 8th hit with Dharma:

Alia Bhatt made her Bollywood debut by starring in the Dharma Production movie Student of the Year. Since then, Alia has been starring in multiple films that were bankrolled by Dharma. Alia and Karan Johar’s jodi have always been a hit and Brahmastra proves to be no exception. She worked with them in Student of the Year, 2 States, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Shaandaar, Kapoor & Sons, Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Raazi, Kalank and the latest Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva.
