‘Brothers’ to hit screens on August 14

The date to witness all the action and bromance of Dharma Productions’ “Brothers” has been set for August 14, on the eve of Independence Day.

“The Producer-Director duo of #Agneepath return with #Brothers on 14th August. Excited much,” read a post on official Twitter account of the film.

Directed by Karan Malhotra, the film stars Akshay Kumar, Sidharth Malhotra, Jacqueline Fernandez and Jackie Shroff. Filmmaker Karan Johar is co-producing the film.

The film is an official Hindi adaptation of Hollywood film “Warriors” and it tells the story of two estranged brothers.

The release date doesn’t come as a surprise. In the past, Aditya Chopra offered a clear window for “Brothers” by pushing the release date of his Shah Rukh Khan-starrer film “Fan” forward.
